Albert Solé

I am currently a lecturer ("profesor lector") within the Serra Húnter Programme at the Departament of Philosophy of the Universitat de Barcelona. From 2010 until 2014, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and member of the PERSP research network (http://www.ub.edu/persp/). Before, I studied for my PhD at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science of the Complutense University of Madrid while enjoying a FPU doctoral scholarship from the Spanish government. My research focuses on the philosophical foundations of quantum mechanics and, more particularly, of Bohmian mechanics. More generally, I am interested in the connection between physics and metaphysics and a host of topics concerning the philosophy and methodology of science (realism, explanation, representation).
