Grant for students who want to earn their PhD in a Spanish or Portuguese university. Best salary for PhD grant in Spain. In the year 2023-24, 2 CCiL MA alumni received a La Caixa retaining grant out of 62 positions available for all disciplines.

Administration support at the secretary, library, etc... Salary depends on the hours, e.g. 20h/week, usually around €492 month. Usually Catalan knowledge is required.

For Spanish residents.

UE citizens can opt for the grant to cover the MA Registration fee expenses.

Both UE and non-UE citizens can have access to the total grant if they possess the permanent residence VISA in Spain.

Go to a study trip / congress in a university from the Xarxa Vives (Catalan speaking universities).

Help to partially cover the expenses of the MA Registration fee.

The Program aims to promote the training of researchers to obtain a Doctorate degree and acquire the competencies and skills related to high-quality scientific research within a Doctoral Program. It is exclusively available to individuals that live in the Basque Country.

For Latin American university staff that wants to earn their PhD in Spain.

Research assistant of a research group you can carry on your own project (MA thesis). First call in April for prospective students who are UB students. Second call in October for students already registered in the MA. You can apply for the grant at any UB Research Group that is part of the MA, see the Teaching Faculty list and choose a professor. The "Opportunity to Talent" Scholarship Program arises from the vocation of the ONCE Foundation for social inclusion and equal opportunities for people with disabilities, as well as its commitment to promoting inclusive education.

Through the development of these scholarships, the aim is to promote excellent education, transnational mobility, specialization of students with disabilities in areas of high employability, as well as sports training. Additionally, the goal is to harness the full potential of their talent and promote the academic and research careers of university students with disabilities, thereby fostering their inclusion in highly qualified jobs.

All university students and graduates of Spanish nationality with a legally recognized disability equal to or greater than 33% who meet the conditions established in the call's guidelines may apply for the scholarships and grants provided by the program.

Grants for students that want pursuit their PhD in the UB.

En cumplimiento de estos objetivos, el Patronato de la Fundación desea colaborar en la formación de personas que deseen iniciarse en la investigación científica, financiando contratos para la realización de tesis doctorales en programas de doctorado de universidades y otros centros de investigación españoles que tengan por objetivo la consecución del título de Doctor/a a partir de enero del año 2024.

Research assistant of a research group using a grant by the Spanish Ministry, this is for BA and MA that have registered 60ECTS. You can apply for grants offered by any department that is part of the MA ("Filosofia", "Cognició, Desenvolupament i Psicologia de l’Educació", "Filologia Catalana i Lingüística General"...). You need to have already your Spanish Identification Number (NIE or DNI) in order to apply. You need to choose one of the departments avaliable in the call and ask a professor of that group.
