REGRESSION AND BEYOND (for language scientists but not only) - FREQUENTIST AND BAYESIAN APPROACHES -

Together with the STeL (Servei de Tecnologia Lingüística; https://stel2.ub.edu/), we would like to invite you to a course designed with your needs and diversity of backgrounds in mind, course aiming to introduce you to regression methods (writ large). These methods are what most of you will end up using for your projects, TFM or PhD thesis, and they are also arguably one of the most widely used statistical techniques in research and industry.

While this course is not officially part of the CCiL MA program, and it is not intended to replace the offer we currently have, it is designed to be complementary and more focused on these specific techniques.
