Open Innovation Challenge - "Hacking the Future of HealthTech"

The Innovation Challenge, organized by Xartec Salut, is a 3-day event that allows participants to collaborate and design innovative solutions for three real challenges proposed by three leading companies in the sector. This year we have: rare diseases (Alexion), dermatology (Almirall), and medical data processing (Better Care). Professionals and mentors specializing in fields such as bioengineering, digital health, communication, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and business development, among others, will also participate to help the participants solve the challenges. The Challenge will be worked on in teams, opting for prizes valued at €3,000.

Taking place 4th - 6th October at UPC Campus Nord, the main goal is to help students and professionals to meet and promote disruptive innovation, ideas and methodologies in a collaborative ecosystem between the academic community, researchers, patients, companies and hospitals.​
