Research interest: perceptual decisions, predictive processing, multisensory interplay
Although in the past I have mainly worked on multisensory processing, now I have broaden my scientific interests to understand a more general question: How we encode, retain and integrate information to make decisions. Specifically I will look at how we integrate past memories (prior knowledge) with new sensory evidence during the perceptual decision process. In order to answer this question I combine psychophysics, electrophysiology (EEG, iEEG) and fMRI neuroimaging techniques.
