En cumplimiento de estos objetivos, el Patronato de la Fundación desea colaborar en la formación de personas que deseen iniciarse en la investigación científica, financiando contratos para la realización de tesis doctorales en programas de doctorado de universidades y otros centros de investigación españoles que tengan por objetivo la consecución del título de Doctor/a a partir de enero del año 2024.

The Program aims to promote the training of researchers to obtain a Doctorate degree and acquire the competencies and skills related to high-quality scientific research within a Doctoral Program. It is exclusively available to individuals that live in the Basque Country.

The "Opportunity to Talent" Scholarship Program arises from the vocation of the ONCE Foundation for social inclusion and equal opportunities for people with disabilities, as well as its commitment to promoting inclusive education.

Through the development of these scholarships, the aim is to promote excellent education, transnational mobility, specialization of students with disabilities in areas of high employability, as well as sports training. Additionally, the goal is to harness the full potential of their talent and promote the academic and research careers of university students with disabilities, thereby fostering their inclusion in highly qualified jobs.

All university students and graduates of Spanish nationality with a legally recognized disability equal to or greater than 33% who meet the conditions established in the call's guidelines may apply for the scholarships and grants provided by the program.
