This year's Welcome Meeting will be on Friday, October 16, at 4pm at the Seminari de Filosofia in Campus Raval (4th floor). 

From next Friday, and until the end of the semester, the room for this course will be 211, also at the UAB Filosofia i Lletres building.

There was an error in the published schedule for the course Linguistic Variation. Please note that the correct starting date is September 25.

The enrollment period for students accepted to the CCiL program for the 2026-27 academic year will be from September 10 to September 30.

We have opened an extraordinary pre-enrollment period due to unfilled vacancies from the initial admission round. The period will last from September 8 to September 15.

We will have an online information session for prospective CCiL students on March 5th, at 16:30 UTC+1. Everyone is welcome, but please write to master.ccil@ub.edu to let us know that you intend to be there. We will send you meeting details by email.

Since March 1st, and until June 15th 2026, we are accepting applications! Non-EU students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as visa and other administrative requirements can take some time to sort out.

SAED (Advanced Seminar on Discourse Studies) is a seminar held every two weeks for PhD students from any discipline who use methods to analyze discourse in their thesis, especially from a critical perspective.

The Welcome Meeting for the Master in Cognitive Science and Language (CCiL) will take place on Thursday, November 13th at 15:00, in Room 401 of the Philosophy Building (UB Raval campus).

Please note that the course Nature of Language will take place in Room 402 (not Room 401, as previously announced).

The Coimbra Laboratory of Language, Metacognition and Decision-Making is offering 2 PhD positions (TypoMetaLing - Effect of linguistic experience on metacognition in language tasks and transfer to non-linguistic behaviour), the application is open for two weeks.
